2008 IOWA STATE PEDAL TRACTOR PULL INFORMATION
The 19th annual Iowa State Pedal Tractor Pull will be held at The Coliseum, 20 West State Street, downtown Marshalltown, on September 6, 2008.
Registration for ages 4 through 6 - 8:15 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. and the pull starts at 9:45 a.m.
Registration for ages 7 through 9 - 10:30 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. and the pull starts at 12 noon
Registration for ages 10 through 12 - 12:30 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. and the pull starts at 1:45 p.m.
You will need to bring your completely filled out registration form and PROOF OF AGE-- a copy of a birth certificate, a baptism certificate or school records.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each boys and girls class. Each participant will receive a ribbon. The top 3 girls and boys in each class will advance to the National Pedal Tractor Pull on September 27, 2008, at The Corn Palace, Mitchell, South Dakota.
REMEMBER----YOU WILL COMPETE IN THE AGE GROUP THAT YOU ARE IN ON THE DAY OF THE PULL, EVEN IF YOU QUALIFIED AT A YOUNGER AGE.
The Marshalltown Noon Optimist Club is the host of the State Pedal Pull. Admission to the event is $3.00 for persons 13 and older and $2.00 for ages 5 to 12. (excluding contestants ). A concession stand will be available with drinks and snacks throughout the day.
